HE POCKETED COMPANY’S EMPLOYMENT TAXES

DEFRAUDED GOVERNMENT OUT OF $1 MILLION+

SBM, president and coo, of a business located in Campbell, California, pleaded guilty in late April to having purloined social security, Medicare and income taxes which had been deducted from his employees’ wages.

Over the course of some five quarters, from 2014 thru 2015, SBM failed to pay $1,177,947 in taxes to the government.

Scheduled to be sentenced on September 24, 2024, SBM faces up to 5 years in prison and a period of supervised release, as will be determined by a district court judge (in accordance with sentencing guidelines).
