HE ALSO GOT 7 MONTHS OF HOME CONFINEMENT, AND A YEAR OF SUPERVISED RELEASE
D.O. (34), of Cleves, Ohio, was sentenced on May 13, 2024, to 30 days in prison, and seven months of home confinement, together with a year of supervised release, for “of aiding and abetting the tampering of a monitoring device required under the Clean Air Act.”
D.O. was the co-owner of auto shops where he is said to have “bypass[ed] or ‘defeat[ed]’ components that controlled emissions on heavy duty diesel truck engines.”
In addition to a $7,500 penalty, D.O. agreed that neither he or any of this companies would “manufacture, sell or install [emission] defeat devices.”
Wonder who feels defeated now ….
