MARYLAND WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY, FACES DECADES IN PRISON
On May 14, 2024, SBC (36) of Catonsville, Maryland, is reported to have pleaded guilty to “conspiring to damage or destroy” Maryland electrical facilities.
In conjunction with a Florida man, named BCR, the duo sought to “accelerate” or support “accelerationism,” by triggering a societal and government collapse. To that end, they targeted energy facilities, and sought to cause significant damage to Baltimore’s regional power grid.
At various times, the pair shared encrypted messages which outlined their plan and ways to “maximize impact.” She also arranged for gun purchases.
Scheduled to be sentenced on September 3, SBC faces up to 20 years in prison for the conspiracy charge, and up to 15 years for the possession charge (followed by up to lifetime supervised release for the conspiracy charge).
Bet she wishes her sentence will be accelerated.
