SUBMITTED PHONY INVOICES FOR DRUGS THAT WERE NEVER DISPENSED
Back in April 2023, PM (56), of Sierra Madre, California, pleaded guilty to one count of health care fraud.
Apparently, the pharmacist admitted to creating fake profiles – using fictitious names, birthdays, and addresses – in order to submit over a million dollars in false claims to Medicare.
In mid-June, the United States Department of Justice announced that the pharmacist was sentenced to two years in prison.
Think that was a bitter pill for the guy?
