The BIFA-Qualifying KINO LONDON SHORT FILM FESTIVAL is “run by filmmakers for filmmakers.”
Screening at this year’s festivities — which were held from July 28 through August 4, 2024 — was TWOFOLD, written by Toto Bruin and directed by Ella Greenwood, a Forbes “30 Under 30” honoree.
In this story, as New Year’s Eve festivities are underway, our two protagonists have a chance encounter. But when they recognize each other from over a decade prior, fireworks ensue — with the story tackling such themes as love, deception, abuse of power, and lack of consent.
We’re extremely honored to announce that, with many great films competing, Ella was selected as the recipient of this year’s “Best Director Award.”
