FBI AGENT CONCEALED FOREIGN BUSINESS DEALINGS

ACCEPTED $225,000 IN CASH FROM A FOREIGN SECURITY OFFICER & BUSINESSPERSON

In late September, CFM (54), a former FBI Special Agent who was in charge of the New York Field Office, pleaded guilty to having concealed the fact that he had received some $225,000 "from an individual who had business interests in Europe while [the agent] was supervising counterintelligence efforts.”

Apparently, among other things, CFM failed to disclose his dealings with that “foreign security officer and businessperson who had ongoing business interests in foreign countries.”

Scheduled to be sentenced on February 16, 2024, the former agent faces up to five years in prison.

We certainly had no reason to conceal that ….
