UP TO 40 YEARS IN PRISON AND $5 MILLION FINE FOR IMPORTING COCAINE

DRUGS HAD A STREET VALUE OF $40K

VT (28) was arrested on July 18, 2023, for having four bricks of cocaine, weighing about 4 kilograms, hidden in his car’s battery area.

Apparently, when he crossed the border from Mexico, VT represented to checkpoint officers that he did not have any contraband. Yet, when he was referred to a secondary inspection area, a dog detected the drugs which had a street value of about $40,000.

In mid-October, VT pleaded guilty to importing cocaine.

Scheduled to be sentenced on January 25, 2024, the man faces up to 40 years in prison and a “possible $5 million maximum fine.”

Think he’ll use the time to recharge?
