THE BOL'S PAD THAI WITH SHRIMP

Since it was getting late, the last item we ordered at “The Bol,” a Pan-Asian restaurant — which offers guests of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (in Fort Lauderdale) an array of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes — was their “Pad Thai with Shrimp” ($20). A dish which met with universal approval. Because the incredibly satisfying noodles effectively combined all the elements of sweetness, sourness, and saltiness, this offering scored an impressive “A-.” (Since some thought the dish was a bit dry, and could have used a few more shrimp for the price, that impinged on a perfect score.)
