On Palat’s Miami Spice menu, our second dish was “Parmigiano Crusted Chicken” served with watercress and radicchio ($23; three-course lunch). Would have been nice if someone had mentioned that this was really a salad served with chicken strips. (I’ve seen a variation of this plate served on airplanes ... and it ain’t good 35,000 feet above ground either, btw.) Based on the greasy taste, and feckless service, this item scored a (near failing) “C-.”
