My guests and I didn’t think Lona’s “Jaral Chili Relleno” — corn masa, pinto bean sauce, crema, cotija cheese ($12) — was so “hot.” Because it came out dry, and had a slightly sandy texture, the dish wasn’t enjoyable. (Thank G@d for the ocean views or we would have left!)
