Five Reasons
to Attend Council Member Corey Johnson’s
Town Hall & Resource Fair on January 13
1. Ask questions and get answers from NYC agencies
Agencies will include the Department of Buildings, Department of Education,
NYPD, NYCHA, Department of Homeless Services and more!
2. Get a free smoke alarm
The FDNY will be distributing free smoke/carbon monoxide alarms through
its ‘Get Alarmed’ program. You can also submit a request to
have your alarm installed.
3. Get a flu shot!
Haven’t had your flu shot yet? Get one at the Resource Fair, courtesy
of Duane Reade/Walgreens.*
4. Learn about neighborhood resources
What services and resources are available to the residents of Council District
3? Come to the Resource Fair and find out what City agencies and local
non-profits have to offer.
5. Meet Council Member Corey Johnson!
Let your Council Member know what issues matter most to you and learn about
ways you can get involved in helping your community.

*Flu shots will be administered at no cost, though participants are asked
to bring their insurance card, if possible. Please note that members of
the community must be 18 years of age or older to participate, and cannot
be allergic to eggs.
