Kathy Hochul is in the heat of her Lieutenant Governor race and is doing
just ONE fundraiser in NYC before her September Primary.
Kathy's event will be on Thursday, Sept. 4th, at 5:30pm at John Petry's home in the San Remo on the Upper West Side. Please see below for full details- we'll be joined by Senator Schumer and a host of other Congressional members.
Kathy is facing a Democratic primary on September 9th, which requires her to run a campaign independent of the Governor. She cannot use money raised by the Governor's Committee towards her campaign. In other words, she must fund her primary race entirely on her own. As you know, she cannot do it alone.Would you be willing to join the Host Committee of this event by adding your name to the invitation and contributing/raising a minimum of $2,500? Contribution limits and guidelines for Friends for Kathy Hochul: Friends for Kathy Hochul will accept no more than $19,700 for the 2014 primary election cycle from individuals, LLCs, unions, political action committees, and trade associations. Partnerships that contribute in excess of $2,500 total over the course of the cycle will be required to specifically identify the partner(s) responsible for the contribution(s), and the attributed amount will be counted against each partner's individual contribution limit. Total contributions from a corporation may not exceed $5,000 per calendar year aggregate to all New York state and local candidates and committees. It is strictly prohibited to reimburse another individual's or entity's contribution. All contributors must be either US citizens or permanent resident aliens (green card holders).
