Investors Bank Partners with the Brooklyn Chamber for 2013 Not-For-Profit Summit at St. Francis College

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that it has formed a partnership with Investors Bank to host the 2nd Annual Not-For-Profit Summit to be held on June 13 at St. Francis College in Downtown Brooklyn.

The event - titled "Navigating NYC's Fiscal Future" - will feature an array of speakers and panel discussions aimed at helping not-for-profits with various strategies to raise money and dealing with the city's political climate post-election.

"We are pleased to be hosting our 2nd Annual Not-For-Profit Summit on June 13 at St. Francis College with the gracious support of Investors Bank," said Carlo A. Scissura, President & CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. "Not-for-profits are a major part of the borough's economy and it is of vital importance that they get together to discuss the important issues and challenges facing this sector. The summit's main panel discussion will be moderated by Marilyn Gelber, President, Brooklyn Community Foundation, and will feature:

-- Joni Yoswein, Founder, Yoswein New York, Inc.

-- Marla G. Simpson, Executive Director, Brooklyn Community Services

-- Andrew Kimball, President, Brooklyn Navy Yard

This year's keynote address will be delivered by Brendan Dugan, President of St. Francis College.

Other speakers include Toni Yuille Williams, Director, Public Affairs, Con Edison; Stu Loeser, Founding Principal, Stu Loeser & Co. and former Press Secretary to Mayor Michael Bloomberg; Martha Kamber, Executive Director, YWCA Brooklyn; and Peter Aschkenasy, Board Member, BRIC and Brooklyn Public Library.

The summit will also feature breakout sessions and the opportunity to network. The sessions include topics such as:
