OATH hires a new ALJ
OATH is pleased to announce that
Astrid B. Gloade joined the OATH Tribunal as an Administrative Law Judge on June 4, 2012.
Judge Gloade received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and
earned her law degree at Columbia University, where she was a Harlan Fiske
Stone Scholar.
After graduating from law school, Judge Gloade was an associate at Cleary,
Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. Thereafter, she served in various roles
at the Conflicts of Interest Board, including Director of Enforcement.
Judge Gloade then served as Director of Academic Support Programs and
Assistant Professor of Academic Support at Hofstra Law School, and most
recently as Director of the Irene Diamond Professional Skills Center at
CUNY Law School.
