DENIM DAY?

On April 25, 2012 from 4pm-7pm, The YWCA of Brooklyn is hosting a Denim Day 2012 Youth Summit in partnership with the NYC Alliance Against Sexual Assault.

Denim Day is a citywide sexual violence prevention and education event. For the third consecutive year, a coalition of New York City anti-sexual violence organizations, elected officials, advocates and survivors are joining forces to raise public awareness about sexual assault, as part of April's Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This year's theme is: Engaging Young Voices Against Sexual Assault.

The YWCA is the host organization for the borough of Brooklyn this year and we are inviting youth from across Brooklyn to participate in the event.
