Every major wine region will be represented, includgin such classics as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Priorat and Sherry, and hot emerging regions like Toro, Bierzo, Jumilla and more. The wines at the Spanish Wine Festival will be complemented by Spanish cheeses, mouthwatering tapas and other cuisine celebrating Spain's rich culinary tradition. Spanish music will round out this authentic and festive taste of Spain. Tasting highlights will include many of the most highly acclaimed wines of the year such as Wine Advocate 100 point sensation Benjamín Romeo Rioja "Contador;" top Ribera del Dueros Vega Sicilia "Unico," Pingus "Pingus," and Alto "PS;" Priorat great "Clos Erasmus;" "Clos Mogador;" Jumilla knockout El Nido "El Nido;" a mini-vertical of R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia back to the 1973 Gran Reserva; 1979 Jean Leon Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva as well as a selection of top-flight and rare Sherries, including Wine Advocate 98 point stunner Osborne PX VORS "Viejo."
Where: The tasting will take place at the dramatic and richly historical setting of "Landmark on the Park," a Universalist Church built in 1897, located at 160 Central Park West across from Central Park at West 76th Street.

PJ Wine is very proud to support Action Against Hunger. Action Against Hunger / Action Contre la Faim (ACF) is an international network committed to saving the lives of malnourished children and their families while ensuring access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger. Action Against Hunger has pursued its vision of a world without hunger for nearly three decades, combating hunger in emergency situations of conflict, natural disaster, and chronic food insecurity. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Action Against Hunger.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be made if notice of cancellation is received by the end of business hours, June 13, 2009. There is a $15.00 cancellation fee per reservation to process refunds. Registrants who do not cancel by June 13 or do not attend are liable for the entire reservation fee. Substitute registrants will be accepted.
