Dear Lucas,
As we move into 2009, I wanted to write and say Happy Holidays!
During this holiday season, I am reminded of how grateful I am for all of your work this election season to help make this past election a success. From stuffing envelopes to picking up the phone, writing a check or standing at the polls, you and so many others have changed the future of this country. I want to thank you again for all of your hard work and share with you my hopes for 2009.
Next week, I will be sworn in for my second term in office. I would like to invite you to join us in Tucson, Sierra Vista or Washington D.C. for an open house to celebrate the 111th Congress and the work you did to make it happen. If you can stop by, please do -- we would love to see you.
Tucson: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
1661 N. Swan, Suite 112 (on the Southwest corner of Pima and Swan)
Sierra Vista: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
77 Calle Portal, Suite B-160
Washington, DC: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
1728 Longworth House Office
Again, I want to personally thank you for all of your hard work during this election and encourage you to stay involved in this coming year as our Cactus Roots continue to work together to make Arizona a better place.
Wishing you and your family a Happy 2009!
Sincerely Yours,
Gabrielle
P.S. Save the date for our first Cactus Roots event of 2009: Thursday, February 19, 2009. Giffords for Congress will be hosting a Thank You Party for all of you who helped on the campaign complete with a photo presentation on the Inauguration. The celebration will include a drive for the Community Food Bank so start collecting your cans!
