What is NEFCA? NEFCA is a 501 c 3 cultural institution based in New York City. We accomplish the aforementioned mission using various methods. One of our most successful methods is creating and producing original entertainment in the arts. NEFCA's staple event is the "Broadway Purim Shpiel," a star-studded, ""charity performance that features stars from Broadway's hottest shows. Recent performances featured stars from: Wicked, Avenue Q, Hairspray, The Producers, Rent and The Light in the Piazza. This hip and meaningful event promotes a connection between young professionals and their heritage. NEFCA strongly believes that premiere entertainment can promote cultural awareness with high efficacy. NEFCA is currently developing more exciting projects for 2008.
Most NEFCA events are fundraisers for non-profit organizations. We are proud to share that this years "Broadway Purim Shpiel" is, once again, a benefit for Taglit-birthright israel. NEFCA prides itself on improving the image of charities by producing unique and entertaining benefit events per request. Organizations are desperately seeking out fresh fundraising programs to avoid the saturated market of monotonous charity dinners. NEFCA provides that originality and works with charities to brand them as trendier and more interesting. NEFCA develops many different kinds of events including but not limited to film, theater and television projects. | | |
