Notice of Public Hearing

Purpose:

The New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal ("DHCR") will hold two (2) public hearings to receive comments regarding DHCR's proposed amendment of its regulations concerning "State-Assisted Housing Constructed by Private Enterprise" at 9 NYCCR Parts 1700 - 1760 ("the Proposed Regulations "). The Proposed Regulations govern both limited-profit and limited-dividend housing companies organized under Article II and Article IV of the Private Housing Finance Law. Notice and a summary of the Proposed Regulations (D.O.S. Id. No.: HCR-15-09-00003-P) were published in the April 15^th edition of the State Register.

Persons wishing to attend one of the hearings must register with DHCR at least twenty-four hours prior to the respective hearing date. To pre-register please contact Jason G. Parpas, Esq., at jparpas@nysdhcr.gov or 212-480-6782.

While verbal statements will be accepted, DHCR requests that anyone wishing to comment at the hearing provide three (3) written copies of their statement, either at the hearing or by U.S. mail, postmarked no later than June 5, 2009. Oral testimony should be limited to ten (10) minutes.
