Dear Friends-
After nearly four years of campaigning, we are finally ready for a long-awaited swearing in ceremony! This is your accomplishment and your Congressional Office, and I cannot thank you enough for making this day a reality.
I would be honored if you would join me at a reception the evening before the swearing in ceremony at the Monocle Restaurant on Capitol Hill from 6-8:30pm. Due to increased security in the run-up to the Inauguration, the actual swearing in ceremony at noon the following day (January 6th) will not be open to the public, but will be broadcast to your new Congressional Office, 1208 in the Longworth House Office Building (2nd Floor) where we will have a reception during and immediately following the swearing in.
Here are the details for both events:
Monday, January 5, 2009
6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
The Monocle Restaurant
107 D Street, N.E.
