We’re honored to announce that our new feature-length dark comedy, "HAPPY AS LARRY," will have its World Premiere at the Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF). This highly anticipated movie, written and directed by London-based Hugo Andre, will be showcased at DIFF on April 27, 2025.
"HAPPY AS LARRY" follows the journey of an unfulfilled author who decides to embark on his final adventure on the stunning Isle of Skye.
The film captures the breathtaking views and mountainous aesthetic of the Scottish island, which offers a visually stunning backdrop to the story. The main characters' bickering and their dysfunctional dynamic add depth and humor to the narrative, making it a uniquely engaging and compelling work.
DIFF is renowned for highlighting a diverse range of narrative and documentary features, short films, and offers participants an array of panels, awards, and filmmaker hospitality. Since its founding in 2006, DIFF has screened more than 2,500 new films from 60 countries, provided more than $1.1 million in awards, and hosted more than 100,000 film-goers and filmmakers. This year marks DIFF's first as an Academy Award® Qualifying Festival.
