Now in its seventh year, the BRIGHTON ROCKS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL — which is based out of the City of Brighton (UK) — seeks “to give maximum support to emerging filmmakers” and is well on its way to becoming “the UK’s main forum for indie and underground cinema.”▫️
Among the films screening at this year’s festivities — which are scheduled from June 25-30, 2024 — you’ll find DON’T CHOKE, a short written and directed by Sonny Baez.

In this “dramedy,” we witness “the toxicity, violence and passion surrounding the end of a marriage.” And we watch as a couple’s child-custody battle unfolds … in a unique way.
