BILLED OVER 24 HOURS A DAY, AND CHARGED FOR SERVICES NOT PROVIDED
TC (55) OF Hileah, Florida, was convicted on February 16, 2024, of “conspiracy to commit health care fraud and wire fraud, and five counts of health care fraud.”
From May 2019 to February 2021, TC signed over 1500 physical therapy notes for patient treatments that were never provided, a scam which is said to have generated some $2.6 million in claims. (Apparently, when those notes were added up, she purportedly logged in over 24 hours per day, on multiple days.)
TC is scheduled to be sentenced on May 6, 2024.
Think she’ll need some therapy after that?
