COKE TRAFFICKER GETS OVER 13 YEARS

PLEADED GUILTY TO DISTRIBUTING BOATLOADS OF COCAINE

LVR (55), a resident of the Dominican Republic, was sentenced on April 4, 2024, for his role in distributing some 2,000 pounds of cocaine into the United States.

Apparently, the guy was involved in “purchasing, registering and maintaining vessels” used by the group to get the cocaine to North Amerca. He also supposedly assisted with creating “secret compartments” to hide the illegal substances and coordinated pick-ups with other members of the network in the Caribbean (for eventual transport to the U.S.).

Back in November (2023), LVR pleaded guilty to “participating in a conspiracy to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine for importation into the United States,” and was sentenced earlier this month to 13 years and 1 month in prison.

Think 13 was his (un)lucky number?
