THOUGHT HE WAS MEETING A 13-YEAR-OLD FLORIDA GIRL

CROSSED STATE LINES TO ENGAGE IN SEXUAL ACTIVITY WITH YOUNG GIRLS

A federal grand jury found a Maryland man, WDL (55), guilty of attempting “to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity” via the internet and his cellphone.

According to the evidence presented at the trial, WDL was communicating with an undercover agent who purported to be the father of a 13-year-old child. As he was making plans to travel to Florida to engage in sex with the youngster, he was also said to be interacting with two other minors, 14 and 16 years of age, respectively.

On November 19, 2021, WDL crossed state lines to see the 14-year-old, and on December 7, 2021, was arrested as he traveled to Florida (with two boxes of condoms) to meet with the “notional 13-year-old.”

The man faces up to life in prison (with a minimum sentence of a decade) and a life term of supervised release.

That ain’t minor at all …..
