Friends,
Tonight, Jews throughout our City and the world will begin observing Yom Kippur. I wish all my Jewish friends - and all who observe this holy day - a meaningful fast and day of contemplation. On Yom Kippur, Jews reflect on the year that has passed and look ahead to the new year.
Our City celebrates the contributions of the Jewish community, and we look forward to another blessed year of unity and diversity.
