Dear Colleagues,
This has been an amazing few weeks for opponents of separate and unequal housing, with the powerful Supreme Court decision in ICP v. Texas followed by the recent announcement of the final HUD Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rule!
Apropos of these momentous events, Building One America is holding its 2015 "Summit on Sustaining Diverse Middle Class Communities" two weeks from today - and there are still tickets available! This year's conference will focus on the related themes of social and racial inclusion, environmental sustainability and economic growth. State elected and grassroots leaders - along with members of the Obama Administration and the US Congress will explore the challenges facing diverse towns & suburbs specifically relating to issues of justice, municipal capacity and changing leadership.
BOA will hold this bi-partisan national conference July 23 & 24 at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
Below are links to the Conference program and the speakers for your review.
I hope to see many of you at the conference!
