I am deeply saddened to share with you the passing of Milton H. Ellerin, Esq., New York trial lawyer and husband of Hon. Betty Weinberg Ellerin.
From his obituary:
Milton Harry Ellerin, 89, passed away on March 19, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Betty Weinberg Ellerin, his cherished children, Seth and Sharon Ellerin, Bruce Ellerin, Bunny Ellerin and Geoffrey Vincent, and his adoring grandchildren, Ashley Ellerin, Alexandra Ellerin, and Michael Vincent. Milton was born on February 8, 1925 , to Beatrice and Sol Ellerin in Middletown, New York. He graduated from Union College and Harvard Law School. He was a D-Day veteran of WW II and a member of counterintelligence in the Korean War. Milton was a man of integrity and a well known trial lawyer for over 50 years. He was proud of his profession and derived great satisfaction from representing those in need. Funeral service will be held at 1:15PM on Friday, March 21 at The Riverside, 76th St & Amsterdam Ave. No flowers please. Donations in Milton's memory can be made to Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Hospice & Palliative Care.
