Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr., recently announced the indictment of LAMAR DAVENPORT, 30, for fatally stabbing his girlfriend, 33-year-old E’Dena Hines, outside of her Washington Heights apartment building last month. Eyewitnesses called 911, and police officers apprehended DAVENPORT at the scene. Ms. Hines was taken to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
